Health and happiness as I go……..

2014….and here we go.

I am new to the blogging world. Well, I read blogs but I am new to the actually doing it myself part.

For 2014, I made myself a promise that I am going to be the best me I can be. (i.e. lose weight, workout, less stress, eat healthy. All the usual suspects.) By doing this blog I am going to make myself accountable to me and anybody out there for all of this.

As I go through this journey, I would like to share the knowledge I gain to maybe help others. I know I have learned a lot from other people’s blogs and they inspire me.

I am allergic to wheat and gluten and I am always looking for products, restaurants, etc. to help with this. And I am a workaholic with a high stress level so fitting in workouts is always a struggle. Unless I just completely give up sleep.

I will post pictures of myself as I become more comfortable with this journey but to start I want to be completely honest and anonymity helps with that.

One other thing to know about me is that I am very sarcastic so a lot of what I say will be tongue in cheek if you will. Please take it for what it is.

I have struggled with disordered eating since I was a child. The thing about eating unlike alcohol or other things that you can be addicted to, is that you cannot stop eating. You have to learn to deal with it. I am learning to listen to my body and give it what it needs.

I am not a nutritionist and nothing on this blog should be taken as advice. Please consult a doctor or nutritionist about your own issues.
